She began working in television in the early 1990s and has since built a multidisciplinary presence in film, combining creative leadership with on ‑ screen performance.
Between 2004 and 2007, Nina Barbora completed an intensive programme in Acting and Film Production at Mosfilm in Moscow, one of Eastern Europe’s most established and historic film studios. Since 2004, she has been based between London and Vilnius, maintaining an active role in international film, television, and cultural projects. In 2025, she further expanded her professional credentials by obtaining certification in Film Directing, Management, and Television Production from the London Film Academy, strengthening her position as a creative lead in screen production.
As a producer and showrunner, Nina Barbora has been developing and promoting transformational television projects in London since 2020, collaborating with international film professionals and production teams. Her work centres on concept development, creative supervision, and long ‑ form narrative production.
Beyond her screen career, she is the author of five books and has achieved international recognition as a singer ‑ songwriter, reaching No. 1 on the Music DC charts in 2008—an artistic background that continues to inform her approach to audiovisual storytelling.
Her awards include an Honorary Award from the Vietnamese Embassy for cultural exchange (2003), the Best Project Award from the Leonardo da Vinci Foundation for a professional coaching programme (2012), and an Appreciation Award from the General Physical Therapy Syndicate of Egypt (2020).
