Linzy is a multiple award‑winning film director and producer, with more than two decades of experience across Bollywood films, British independent cinema, commercials, TV shows, short films and music videos. Linzy began her creative journey by training to be an actor at some of the UK’s leading drama schools. She then shifted her focus into film production, undertaking an apprenticeship in India before embarking on her professional producing/directing career.
In 2005 she founded her own production company, Thought Juice Films, initially making corporate videos, then branching into music videos, commercials and television. Linzy has served in roles such as 1st Assistant Director on 12 feature films (including notably On The Line and Exodus), further underscoring her capabilities in film set management.She has also managed high‑budget commercial campaigns such as the Disney/Star Wars/Lucasfilm UK Toy Advertising Campaign. She worked as Production Manager on the film Chandu Champion and on the Disney campaign. In addition, Linzy has produced micro‑budget features including Wolf Garden and The Alice Paradox, demonstrating her versatility across scales of production.
Linzy has produced and directed numerous award-winning short films, including Don’t Cry (11 awards, including Best Social Concern Film at the Global Short Film Awards Cannes), Re-Birth (Featured on Amazon Prime, 8 awards including Best Cinematography, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Director), Cinnamon (52 festival selections and 11 wins), A Certain Night (4 awards, including Best Short Film at Love Wins) and Finding the Light (Best Documentary at the Universal Film Festival and Best Cinematography at the Political Film Festival). Linzy’s filmmaking ambition is to tell stories that challenge audience perceptions — particularly in the realm of “fantasy realism” and socially‑engaged narratives. Through her company, she offers an inspiring and efficient production pathway for creatives and organisations alike.
Linzy Attenborough has built a distinguished career as a producer, director, first assistant director and production manager. From large‑scale commercial campaigns for major brands to deeply personal short films that have garnered numerous festival awards, her work spans the spectrum of film production. She continues to use her experience, creativity and leadership to support new stories and newer voices.
