MAM Associates is a boutique agency. We work closely with a small roster of actors and we are specific about how we work. These are the expectations we share with every actor we take on.
If any of this reads as too demanding, we are probably not the right agency for you. That is fine. It’s better to know early.
Preparation is non-negotiable
When we send a casting, we expect you to read the brief fully, understand the project, and deliver a self-tape to modern standards on time. Late submissions, off-brief tapes, or tapes that ignore basic technical standards reflect on us as well as you.
Respond to your agent promptly
We don’t expect instant replies. We know you have lives. We do expect replies within the working day on active castings, and we expect you to be reachable when we say you will be.
Be honest about availability
Tell us early about holidays, illness, conflicts, other work, training. We can only pitch you well if we know your real availability.
Behave consistently
Your conduct on set, in the room, and in messages is noted and it travels back to us. Reputation is a shared asset.
Bring us your own work
Tell us what you’re creating, writing, producing, or seeking. We want to know. We can’t help with what we don’t know.
Grow with us
We invest in actors we can grow with over years. We expect you to invest in the relationship the same way.
The takeaway
Representation is a two-way contract. What we ask is what we also give back.
If these expectations match how you want to work, apply to the MAM roster.
