Communication is one of the quiet engines of a working career. An agency that doesn’t reply quickly, doesn’t brief you clearly, and doesn’t follow up with casting is costing its actors work.

These are the standards we commit to at MAM Associates.

Quick response times

We aim to respond to every actor and casting message within the working day. Urgent castings, we respond inside the hour. If we can’t answer fully, we acknowledge quickly and come back.

Clear briefs

Every casting we send you includes everything we know: role, project, production company, director, casting director, rate (where available), shoot dates, and what casting have asked for. If a brief is unclear, we ask casting before sending.

Honest feedback

If casting give us notes, we pass them on in full. We don’t soften or hide them. You can’t improve from information you don’t have.

Direct conversations

Tough conversations. About pitching, availability, fit. Happen quickly and in person or on a call. Not by email silence.

Professional channels

We use professional tools. Spotlight, email, messaging. In professional ways. We don’t chase castings with gossip. We don’t pitch actors in ways that embarrass them.

More on what this looks like from your side is in our actor-agent communication guide.

The takeaway

Fast, clear, honest communication is the engine of a working representation relationship.

Meet the actors we represent. Then come and join them.
